Ceyntel Brand Guidelines

Ceyntel is CeylonCash’s Digital Asset Intelligence Team (DAIT): the nervous system of the CeylonCash ecosystem, and a neutral, evidence-led team for virtual asset forensics, blockchain research and digital asset investigations. This guide has everything you need to represent Ceyntel correctly: the logo, wordmark, colours and type, and how to use them. Use these assets as they are to refer to Ceyntel in articles, presentations, partner pages and reports.

Every logo and pattern tile as SVG and PNG, in one zip.

Naming

Write Ceyntel with a capital C and the rest in lowercase. Never "CEYNTEL" in running text, "CeyNtel" or "Ceyntel's Intel".

The name joins Cey, from Ceylon, with ntel, from intel: digital asset intelligence made in Sri Lanka. The two-tone wordmark shows the split.

Logos

The Ceyntel logo is a dragonfly seen from above, paired with the wordmark. With nearly 360° vision, a 95% hunting success rate and flight in any direction, the dragonfly sees its whole surroundings, never stops watching and strikes with precision, just as Ceyntel keeps a 360° view of the CeylonCash ecosystem and follows the evidence. Use the files below exactly as supplied.

Primary Logos

Logo Vertical Square and tall spaces

The symbol centred above the wordmark, at half the wordmark's width. Use it where the horizontal logo would be too small: square social posts, posters, splash screens, merchandise and stamps.

Logo with App Icon Sub-logos

The square app icon paired with the wordmark, horizontal or stacked. Use them where the symbol needs its own ground to hold up: busy or photographic backgrounds, partner logo strips, app store listings, event badges and email signatures.

Logo Symbol

App Icons Favicons · avatars · app stores

A square tile with the bottom-right corner cut at 45°, 22.33% of the side in on both edges, with the symbol centred at 74.8% of the tile's width. Red with a white symbol is the primary icon. The app icon is the one place round corners are allowed: it can be used as supplied with its cut corner, or with fully rounded corners where a platform, app store or avatar needs them.

Wordmark

"Ceyntel" set in Exo 2 ExtraBold. Use the two-tone versions wherever colour allows, and keep the wordmark's original letterforms, spacing and proportions. Never retype it in a font.

Colours

Ceyntel is red, black and white. Black and white carry the layout; Ceyntel Red marks the brand, the primary action and the information that matters most.

Print and Pantone

Each swatch lists its nearest Pantone Coated (C) match for spot-colour print, signage and merchandise. Screen HEX values remain the master. Pantone matches are close, not exact: Ceyntel Red is a bright screen red that no spot ink reproduces perfectly. Confirm every ink against a current physical Pantone Formula Guide and approve a printed proof before a full run. On uncoated stock, ask the printer for the U equivalent and proof again. Ceyntel Red can also go to 185 C if a cooler, pinker red suits the stock better.

Balance

Red should read as a signal, not a background, except on short, bold pieces such as the app icon, avatars and cover slides.

Pattern

The Ceyntel pattern is made of fine red bars running in rows, like nerve signals travelling through the ecosystem. Most rows sit dim, like noise. One row is lit: the signal the team finds.

Vertical Pattern Portrait formats

The same pattern turned 90°, so the bars run top to bottom in columns and one column is lit. Use it for portrait and tall formats: roll-up banners, phone screens and stories, posters, report spines, sidebars and lanyards. The spacing, colours and rules are identical; only the direction changes.

Using the Pattern

  • Full strength is a feature: covers, event backdrops, social banners, merchandise and the app splash screen. Keep text and logos off it, or place them on a solid panel.
  • Low opacity is a background: slides, report pages, web sections, email headers and stationery. Text can sit directly on it.
  • Use the tiles as supplied. Don't recolour, rotate, stretch, round the squares or change the spacing.
  • Keep one lit row in view, and never more than one.
  • Don't place the pattern behind the logo's clear space, and don't use it inside the product interface, where it would compete with data.
  • Scale it in whole steps (the tile at 50%, 100% or 200%) so the squares stay crisp.

Spacing & Sizing

Keep clear space equal to the width of the dragonfly's head on every side of the symbol, lockup and app icon. Around the wordmark alone, use the height of its lowercase "n".

App icon32px (16px favicon)10mm

Below 24px, use the app icon tile instead of the bare symbol so the antennae stay legible.

Don'ts

  • Don't recolour the logo outside Ceyntel Red, black and white, or add gradients, shadows, glows or outlines.
  • Don't stretch, squash, rotate, skew or crop any version.
  • Don't change the wordmark's letterforms or the Cey | ntel colour split, or retype it in a font.
  • Don't rearrange the lockup or change the size ratio between symbol and wordmark.
  • Don't put the symbol in a circle or rounded shape anywhere except the app icon, which may be used with its cut corner or fully rounded corners.
  • Don't use the symbol as a bullet, a loading spinner or a repeating pattern.
  • Don't place any version on low-contrast or busy backgrounds.

Important: Ceyntel, the Ceyntel wordmark and the dragonfly symbol belong to Ceylon Cash (PVT) LTD. Use them only to refer to Ceyntel, as supplied and in line with these guidelines, and in a way that doesn't suggest a partnership, sponsorship or endorsement that doesn't exist. For any use not covered here, contact the CeylonCash team first.
